It then covers haemorrhage control, cleaning, debridement methods including maggot therapy, and diagnostics such as arthrocentesis, radiographs, ultrasound and CT. It finishes with antimicrobials, types of closure, immobilisation, systemic stabilisation and common complications such as proud flesh.
