1. About this membership
The Lifetime Webinar Membership is offered by Veterinary Nurse Solutions Pty Ltd, trading as the Australian College of Veterinary Nursing (ACVN) and VetNurse.Study. For a one-off payment of AUD $495 including GST, one named individual receives access to the standard recorded webinar library, subject to these terms. The offer is limited to 200 paid memberships. These terms operate alongside our website terms and Privacy Policy. Nothing in these terms excludes statutory consumer rights.
2. Meaning of lifetime access
Lifetime means the operational lifetime of the VetNurse.Study standard recorded webinar library, not the purchaser’s lifetime. There is no scheduled expiry or recurring subscription payment while the library service continues to operate. We do not promise that the platform or library will operate indefinitely. If we permanently discontinue the service, we will provide reasonable advance notice where practicable and honour applicable consumer law remedies.
3. What’s included
Individual online access to the standard recorded webinar library, including future standard webinar recordings added while the service operates; associated quizzes and completion certificates where offered; and AVNAT CPD recognition for activities with allocated points, subject to meeting the activity requirements. Most, but not all, webinars carry AVNAT CPD points, and the number allocated is displayed on each relevant webinar page.
4. What’s not included
Formal qualifications, accredited courses or assessments; separately priced premium courses or resources; live webinar tickets, conferences and events unless expressly included; Clinic CPD Membership benefits, employer administration, seat management or reporting; personal tutoring or educator appointments; or other future products designated as premium or separately priced. This membership does not provide access to every current or future ACVN offering.
5. Changes to the library
We may reasonably update, replace, archive or remove recordings where content is outdated, rights or permissions change, legal requirements apply, or technical circumstances make continued provision impracticable. Individual recordings are not guaranteed to remain available permanently. We will not materially reduce the overall service without meeting our obligations under applicable consumer law.
6. Personal, non-transferable membership
The membership belongs to one named individual and cannot be transferred, sold, assigned, gifted after activation, inherited or shared. You must not provide your credentials to others, use the account for shared practice access, or redistribute protected materials. You may update your own name and contact details where appropriate, but the original membership holder remains the same.
7. Account inactivity
An account may be reviewed after 24 continuous months without a successful login to VetNurse.Study. Before closing it, we will email the registered address, allow at least 60 days to log in or contact us, and send a further reminder where reasonably practicable. Logging in during the notice period stops the inactivity closure. If there is no response, we may deactivate the account and manage information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the law. Original purchasers who contact us afterwards may request restoration, subject to identity and purchase verification. Inactivity does not remove non-excludable consumer rights.
8. Refunds and cancellation
This membership is purchased once and does not renew automatically. You may request cancellation at any time. If the purchase is fully refunded, the associated Lifetime Webinar Membership entitlement and access will cease. A partial refund or other remedy will be handled according to the agreed remedy and applicable law. We do not generally offer change-of-mind refunds merely because you no longer use the library. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including any right to a refund or other remedy, remain unaffected.
9. Misuse, suspension and termination
We may reasonably suspend or terminate access for proven fraudulent activity, serious security interference, unauthorised sharing or redistribution of content, or serious or repeated breaches of these terms. Where appropriate we will notify you and allow a reasonable opportunity to respond or remedy the issue. Immediate suspension may be necessary for genuine fraud, unlawful activity or security threats. Our decisions remain subject to applicable law.
10. Intellectual property
All recordings, presentations, quizzes, learning materials and images remain owned by Veterinary Nurse Solutions Pty Ltd or their respective rights holders. Membership grants a personal, non-exclusive licence to access included content for your own education and professional development. It does not grant ownership or permission to reproduce, download where prohibited, publish, distribute or sell the material.
11. Educational purposes
Materials are provided for education and professional development. They do not replace current legislation, veterinary directions, workplace protocols, professional scope or clinical judgement. Professional standards and scientific evidence change, and members are responsible for working within their own training, authority and legal requirements.
12. Availability and technology
Access requires suitable internet connectivity, devices and software. We may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, technical improvements or events beyond our reasonable control. We will take reasonable steps to maintain availability and resolve faults, without excluding any consumer guarantees.
13. Privacy and records
We collect and use information needed to administer memberships, purchases, learning records and access in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable Australian privacy law. Some records may be retained for legal, financial or dispute-resolution purposes. Other personal information will be deleted or de-identified when no longer needed, subject to applicable law. Please keep your registered email address current.
14. Changes to these terms
We may reasonably revise these terms for legal, technical, security or operational reasons, with reasonable notice of material changes. Changes will not be used to unfairly remove essential benefits already purchased, and are subject to applicable law.
15. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, a failure to meet those guarantees may entitle you to cancellation, a refund, compensation or another remedy. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and applicable Commonwealth legislation.
